This is a service for those of you who are into precious metal clay and have pieces that can’t be fired by torch or if you are too nervous to use a torch (in which case you need to do one of my classes!). Costs for my firing service are £2 per piece up to a maximum of £10 for a kiln shelf full (kiln shelf is 18cm x 18cm so as many as you can fit onto that area with at least a small space in between pieces). If you want the pieces tumbled as well - which gives them a high shine and also strengthens them (you don't have to tumble them, it depends on the effect you want) then I don't charge extra for that, just let me know when you send them.

Or if you simply want pieces tumbled, again that is £2 a piece up to a maximum of £10 (you can get a whole lot of pieces in a tumbler barrel!)

I operate the service by post, just wrap your pieces well and let me know what type of clay it is (eg PMC3, PMC+) because they require different firing temperatures.  Give me an email first so I know they’re coming and to check I’m not away on holiday - would hate you to have a deadline and have your pieces languishing on my doormat!
