The necklaces are new but the beads are old! I love working with vintage beads - they’re often really unusual or quirky - and you can guarantee you’ll never see anyone else wearing them! It’s great to wear a piece of history round your neck but please note: the beads aren’t new so you shouldn’t expect them to be pristine. Sometimes they will be if they’ve been sat in a warehouse for decades but more usually they’ve already had a life before they’ve come into  my hands and they continue to wear that life when they’re made into a new piece. I don’t clean them up as I think that removes their character and most people prefer to keep that. Also, if they’re really old (and some of them are centuries old) the constraints of the manufacturing processes at the time they were made mean they might be irregular in shape.
